In the morning, the tour begins at the guests’ hotel/Airbnb, followed by a bus ride to the small and ancient town of Chinchero, famous for its rich textile traditions, ancient Inca terraces, and splendid colonial temples. You’ll then continue to Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural laboratory showcasing the Incas’ advanced farming techniques. Finally, marvel at the Maras Salt Mines, where bright salt pools glisten under the radiant Andean sun, offering a unique and unforgettable landscape.

At midday, we cordially invite you to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Enjoy a selection of traditional Peruvian dishes while admiring the impressive mountain views. This exceptional culinary experience will enhance your journey through the valley.

In the afternoon, we continue to the Ollantaytambo fortress, an imposing Inca complex that combines monumental architecture with a fascinating natural setting. Afterward, you will board the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in town, the hotel staff will be waiting for you at the train station. Later, your guide will provide the latest instructions and recommendations for the next day’s tour at Machu Picchu.

Many guests choose to start their experience very early in the morning. It's a fantastic and unforgettable experience to capture the beauty of the sunrise over the ancient structures and the beautiful natural landscape surrounding Machu Picchu Park. For this purpose, it is necessary to wake up very early in the morning. Most hotels offer American breakfast from 5 AM and buffet breakfast from 6 AM. It is also possible to organise breakfast to take away, please contact the hotel one night before.

The bus ride from the village to the Machu Picchu park is about 25 minutes in normal conditions. However, if you're visiting during the high season, you might have to wait a little longer than usual. This is because there are lots of other tourists who are also looking to arrive early. Don't worry, buses run continuously throughout the day.

If you want a more complete experience, we'd recommend circuit 2, which takes around 3 hours and offers a comprehensive view of the citadel. Alternatively, circuit 3 is shorter, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, and is ideal for those who want a quick but meaningful view of the site.

Before continuing with your reservation, it is necessary to meet the following requirements, please:

• Valid Passport, Identity Card or ID Card.
• Make your reservation after verifying available spaces for Machu Picchu.
• Be sure to enter your personal information correctly when making your reservation.
• On the day of your visit to Machu Picchu, you must show the original identification document with the data entered in our system.
• Tickets and/or spaces available for the Machu Picchu mountains sell out quickly. If you wish to visit any of them, we recommend booking months in advance.
• The information of your accommodation (Hotel/Airbnb) in Cusco will be requested by Email/WhatsApp. Please send this information once you have it confirmed.
• It is very important to have an alternative communication channel, apart from email. We suggest the WhatsApp application for a more fluid communication.
• If you have made a partial payment of the total tour price, the remaining amount is due one or two days before the tour date. Please note that this final payment can be made in cash directly at our office or, if it is more convenient for you, we can coordinate the payment at your place of accommodation.

Requirements to Access the Student Rate

To benefit from the student rate, you must present an original university ID on PVC material, issued by your university. This must include:

• University data.
• Student name.
• Student photo.
• Valid expiration date (for example, if you visit Machu Picchu in 2023, the card must have an expiration date in 2023 or 2024. Cards with later dates will not be valid).
• The student rate is applicable only for persons under 25 years of age.
• ISIC cards are not accepted for this discount..

If you meet these requirements, please send a photo of your student ID to our email info@InkaCoach.com at the time of booking your tour. This will allow us to process your Machu Picchu ticket purchase at the student rate.

If you do not meet the above requirements, we suggest you purchase the tour at the adult rate. Purchasing tickets at student rate without complying with the established conditions will result in the prohibition of access to the citadel of Machu Picchu, according to Peruvian government regulations.

Essential Documents for your Visit to Machu Picchu

• Original Passport: It is crucial to carry your passport with you at all times, as it is a mandatory requirement to access Machu Picchu.
• National Identity Card: Citizens from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay may enter Peru by presenting their identity card or cédula, thanks to the existing free circulation agreements between these countries.
• Original Student Card: If you have applied for a student discount, don't forget to bring your original student ID to validate the discount.
