Normally, the pick-up time from the hotel is between 06:00 and 06:15.

During the trip from Puno to Chivay, you will be able to admire the beautiful natural landscapes of the Andes and the Colca Valley through the panoramic windows of the exclusive bus. The places we visit on the route are:

• Patapampa: Volcanoes Viewpoint (4950 masl).
• Patawasi: Singular Rock Formation.
• Lagunillas: Birdwatching and lagoons.

Chivay

Upon arrival in the town of Chivay, at approximately 12:30 pm, you will enjoy a large and delicious buffet lunch (drinks included, of course). Afterwards, you will be transported to your accommodation. The activities scheduled for the afternoon will be confirmed by our guide before disembarking. If you prefer to rest or do not feel up to these activities, please inform the guide.

Afternoon activities include a walk through the Chivay countryside and a visit to the thermal baths of Chacapi. After these activities, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Guests with reservations at the Colca Llaqta hotel will be transported to the hotel after the buffet lunch so that they can settle in comfortably. If you decide to visit the Chacapi hot springs, transportation will be provided to and from the hotel. Please confirm your participation with the guide.

As the evening progresses, we extend an invitation to our esteemed guests to join us for a delightful dinner at the Peña Show Restaurant. You will enjoy a selection of delicious local dishes and be treated to a lively show of traditional music and dance.

• Entrance tickets to the hot springs are not included.
• Dinner at the Peña Show Restaurant is not included, but round-trip hotel transfer service is included.

El Refugio d’Elise hotel is situated in the picturesque Colca Valley, just a five-minute drive from the town of Chivay. The hotel is located on the banks of the Colca River at an altitude of 3,200 metres above sea level. The hotel is situated in a spectacular location, surrounded by towering mountains and a starry sky. It offers an unforgettable experience, with comfortable rooms and spectacular views, fresh and thermal water pools, fishing in the river or trout ponds, and excellent restaurant and bar service.

Before the bus trip from Chivay to the Colca Canyon, we suggest an early breakfast. Pick-up time from the hotel will be confirmed by our guide the day before the excursion.

On the way to and from the famous viewpoint, we will visit some small villages that still keep their traditions alive, and viewpoints located in the Colca Valley, where the natural and geographical landscapes are beautiful and impressive. At each stop you will be able to take pictures and learn a little more about these places.
